It’s no surprise that juggling being a stay at home mother and a business owner is beyond a 24/7 job, but lately it’s wearing. I noticed the other day, to my shock, that I’ve scheduled myself in for every single weekend til June. Don’t get me wrong I’m so excited to meet everyone of these clients and am honored to photograph them, but I’m going to take this opportunity to change things for the future. I need my weekends for my family. So starting in June I will only be opening up 1/2 the weekends each month. The other half I won’t be scheduling any sessions. That being said if you are going to need a weekend spot, even as far out as fall you might want to schedule early.
Right now I can only schedule a Saturday appointment in June for the 5th and 26th.
I wanted to share a few more images from a previous session.

Today I realized how old I’m getting. Chasing around 4 children up and down a steep incline would have been a piece of cake 10 years ago!
It was worth it though, don’t you think?

I saw this next one coming and had my camera ready! Priceless!

Sometimes it’s not all sunshine and rainbows…sometimes it’s just rain!

Celebrating Adoption is an organization of professional photographers dedicated to promoting adoption. If you have adopted your child within the last year (birth-18) then you are eligible for a complimentary session. Every participating photographer gives their time and talent free PLUS you get all your proofs! Here in Arkansas there are only 3 participating photographers, and I’d love to change that.
Go to the Celebrating Adoption website to find a participating photographer in your area.
Now on with the show.
Little ‘N’ is celebrating his 1st birthday tomorrow, and this session was to celebrate his adoption as well! He is simply adorable what with those dark eyes and curly hairs! Adrienne I hope you enjoy this little preview.

Below is what happens at the end of a session when the kiddos are tired and it’s pushing lunchtime…you get what they naturally do!
I know this is a silly shot, but there is just something about it that I love. I think it’s just so real.

Til next time,
Mindy
