This past weekend I got to meet several really great women at my first photography class for moms. Gwen from Motherlode hosted it at her beautiful home and Shannon (her Motherlode partner in crime) helped out. I gave them a lot of information to soak in, hopefully without overwhelming them! It wasn’t hard to put myself in their shoes since I remember the frustration of learning my camera so well…
Thank you to the mama’s who provided (and offered to provide) our little models! Here are a few shots from our class. Keep reading after these images for updates on fall scheduling.

Fall Scheduling
Things are starting to fill up so if you’ve been on the fence now is the time to jump over. If you go to THIS POST you can read about the regular and short sessions going on September-November. Right now I have 2 weekend spots left in September and 2 left in October so call now if your going to need a Saturday.
I will be closed the entire month of December this year. No sessions, no editing, no ordering…just family time. Because of this the latest possible session to schedule will be November 17th. If your pregnant and due after that date please contact me asap as I will always make room for newborns.
Tonight I was reminded why (1) I never wear my hair down to a summer session, and (2) why I don’t book daytime appointments in July and August…just evening. Man it’s HOT out there!
Thanks for sticking it out with me in the heat guys! I really enjoyed spending time with your boys, they are so funny.
Enjoy your sneak peek and I’ll be in touch soon.

A couple of comedians indeed. I couldn’t help but giggle at this image. It’s so boy.

I got the opportunity to photograph the ‘P’ family while they were in the states visiting. What a fun, loving family! They are currently serving God overseas in Dubai. Please keep them in your prayers as God has them doing some amazing things.
Kevin & Brooke thanks for giving me some of your precious time. Enjoy this sneak peek and I’ll mail them all soon!

Two out of three of my children were born in July. I didn’t really *enjoy* being pregnant in July where a cool day was 90 degrees, but now it’s a great excuse to spend birthdays by the water.
I’m trying to be better at remembering to photograph my own children without irritating them too much.
So here goes…
My little man! Saturday he will officially be THREE!

Abby turned 7…with the sass to boot!

I couldn’t resist a couple of my oldest. He is growing up way too fast! Almost into the double digits.

And THIS is what it’s really like trying to photograph my kids.

I only shoot half the weekends in a given month, so if your looking for a Saturday call early!
