This is the third mom’s photography class I’ve had in the last 6 weeks.  When I started offering these I wasn’t sure how they’d go, if I’d enjoy it or even if people would really learn from it.  I have been so excited to see and hear that these ladies (and guys) have really learned a lot.  I love seeing critiques coming to my inbox and seeing just how much improvement they’ve had in their shots.  I really think I may start brainstorming some more fun things in the near future!

Here was this classes model, Mira.  She was a hoot stylin with her dress and shades. 

I had a great time with this class this afternoon.  Lots and lots of questions!  Thank you ladies (and gentleman) for making it such a great class.  Don’t forget to email those pictures and questions as you venture into the world of manual!    Here are just a few shots I got.  Thanks mom for letting her come.

This past weekend I got to meet several really great women at my first photography class for moms.  Gwen from Motherlode hosted it at her beautiful home and Shannon (her Motherlode partner in crime) helped out.  I gave them a lot of information to soak in, hopefully without overwhelming them!  It wasn’t hard to put myself in their shoes since I remember the frustration of learning my camera so well…

Fall Scheduling

Things are starting to fill up so if you’ve been on the fence now is the time to jump over.  If you go to THIS POST you can read about the regular and short sessions going on September-November.  Right now I have 2 weekend spots left in September and 2 left in October so call now if your going to need a Saturday.

I will be closed the entire month of December this year.  No sessions, no editing, no ordering…just family time.  Because of this the latest possible session to schedule will be November 17th.  If your pregnant and due after that date please contact me asap as I will always make room for newborns.
