Let me just say that it felt like summer today. I could have worked in a swimsuit and still left sweating! It’s been a while since I shot in the high sun, but it was so worth it to play with ‘L’ and her new baby brother. This was one of those sessions where you could just keep shooting for hours because you’ve got all these ideas….except that it’s now past lunch and everyone is beat red from heat. Yep, one of those.
Enjoy this little peek!

Cubby cheeks, dark hair and tiny squeeks. What could be better? So many people have been patiently awaiting the arrival of this little guy. I suggested to Al that they just have a ‘meet-n-greet’ with barbecue so everyone can come see Hutton.
I think I speak for so many people who know and love you when I say how ecstatic we are for you both. Cindy, your arms are full again.
Introducing Hutton James………

and this one is just for daddy…in case you can’t see it clearly that is a Texas A&M class ring.

It’s 9:00 pm and I’m listening to my kids watch a movie before heading off to bed. They woke me up this morning with breakfast in bed and lots of their very special homemade cards. It has been a very relaxing Mother’s Day for me and I think we even got through it without my oldest two fighting. It’s always the little things in life like sidewalk chalk drawings and hearing their laughter when they chase each other with the water hose.
I ended the evening in the best way. I got to photograph a beautiful mother with her children. Her kids are a couple of the most well mannered kids I’ve met! I truely enjoyed photographing them.
Andrea, Happy Mother’s Day!

The last time I saw these guys little ‘L’ was about 1/2 this size. One of my favorite things about being a photographer is getting to see children grow up through my lens. It reminds me of just how quickly it really does go by…even when you think time is practically standing still as you attempt potty training.
Thanks for getting up early for me Stephanie and Nick!
