If you’ve spent any time at all looking around my site you’ve noticed that I pretty much photograph children. I love photographing children! They are so fun and each one is a new discovery. Every once in a while I get the opportunity to photograph tweens and seniors. It’s always nice not to have to chase your subject. Although I don’t advertise on my site or anywhere else for seniors I do photograph them. Here is a sample of one.
(on a site note I don’t photograph wedding, ever. But, I can recommend some great ones around here!)
This is Ben. He is graduating high school this year. I’d like to say he’ll be joining the real world, but Ben has already seen much of that. Ben is a very active youth in his church that has taken him to several places. One of those trips took him to NOLA very shortly after Katrina devastated the area. I wish we had more Bens in the world.
Ben, thanks for getting up early for me (and your mom).
Okay, really I have a couple clients who really need your vote! I found this great website that is all about resources for the hip mom. Well it turns out every month they have a photo contest for professional photographers and I entered a couple shots. I really have no idea what we win…really it’d just be cool to win. So to all your hip mama’s out there…and other photog’s go check it out. Oh, and don’t forget to vote for us!
I don’t usually do senior sessions. Not that I won’t, but most of my clients just happen to be toddlers. It was a nice change from chasing my clients to talking to them!
I had a hard time choosing the ones to blog…hope you like them!
